Special Projects

Every year, The Future Factory takes on extra social responsibility projects, as well as our regular programs. These are often unexpected projects that are brought to our attention and need something done about them.

Our current special projects include being a collection agent for food, clothing and other goods for refugees of the 2008 xenophobic attacks, assisting flood victims from townships following the 2008 floods and collecting donations to assist with special cases such as expenses for “The Little Rock”, the young girl who was brutally raped, burned and left to die in 2006.

We also assist with providing food and clothing in crisis cases, and with housing. We have a number of families living in sub-standard housing, who are in desperate need of a new place to live. With money from sponsors and donors, we are hoping to provide this housing for the families.

Our special projects change on a regular basis, depending on the needs and circumstances at the time.
