Let's Move A Million

The Let’s Move a Million campaign is the brainchild of Imvusa Foundation, The Desmond Tutu Foundation and The Future Factory.

The plan is to motivate corporate and medium to small business people as well as the
general public to buy soccer balls which in turn will be donated to schools, soccer clubs and young children.

The target is to move 1 million balls by 2010 and in doing this motivate every young child, male or female, to start playing the beautiful game of soccer.

Businesses and individuals can purchase soccer balls at a cost of R35 each. These balls are then donated to wherever they are most needed, to provide new sporting opportunities to the children. Businesses purchasing 100 or more balls are able to have their logos printed on the balls before they are given out.

Through providing a million balls to South Africa by 2010, we are encouraging children to take the opportunity to do something positive, rather than getting involved with things like drugs and alcohol - “Kick the habit, score against drugs”.

To purchase a soccer ball and help out the Let's Move a Million campaign, please email tanya@thefuturefactory.co.za
